THE WEBSITE OF HATSY TAYLOR, a New England gardener, writer and professional garden lecturer.
Hatsy's unique programs, one on wildflowers and another on vegetables, have been entertaining garden clubs, libraries and schools for many years. Her two books, "Weeds and Wisdom" and "Mother Natute's Wit and Wisdom" can be purchased through this website.
Hatsy's garden columns, published by The Berkshire Eagle, The Lakeville Journal and The Torrington Register, now appear on this site. Every two weeks she will post a new column, waltzing from radishes and raspberries to lupines, lilacs, lawns and even llamas. You will find tips on growing flowers, vegetables, trees and shrubs, plus reminiscences about life on Locust Hill, the 250 acre farm Hatsy and her husband purchased in 1962.
All previous columns can be found in the Archives, listed by subject matter. The new photo at the top of this page was caught by Karen Bartomioli, thanks to an obviously very funny remark she made during an interview.
